In October 15 representatives of Georgian Assyrian association of "Aturay" and patriarchate met in school hall of old village Kanda. The goal of the meeting was that father Andrea would give a pray and to acquaintance parish closely. Elder and new generation of the village have not met for a long time. Population was very glad that now for Assyrian orthodox fathers, by blessings of apostolical-blessed Ilia II, in the cathedral of trinity was isolated a church. Besides christening, wedding, pray, Eucharist and other celebrations they will have opportunity to meet and acquaintance each other. Dwellers of Kanda with candles in their hands were listening pray of their confessor with great pleasure, together with dwellers of Tbilisi.
Then they talked about the past of Assyrians and their future plans together with father Adam. They especially took care the issue, that representatives of ancient nation and their future generation keep their language and written language.
On this meeting by the initiative of patriarchate and association, was decided to establish free medical researches and treatment for Assyrian women, both pregnant and future mothers in Tbilisi # 3 maternity home. Population of village was very glad by this initiative.
